I offer discounts on digital editions of my romance novellas and my books for authors through my Book Club mailing list and my Writers Community mailing list respectively. Whenever I sell my books through well-known online stores, I have to pay them a fee. Consequently, I reward buyers who buy digital products direct from my online store by passing the money I save direct onto readers. Buying direct from an author is also the best way to recompense them for the time and money they’ve spent creating an independently published book because they get paid quicker so it’s a great way to support independent artists.
